This month's outing was at the splash pad. There were about 10 homeschooling families there. Oh the children had so much fun! It was nice to just let them run and play and be free. It turned out to be a beautiful day!
It is hard in the summer. I would like to get some stuff done but at the same time I want the kids to be outside being themselves. It is a fine line. I feel like I need to find creative, fun ways for the kids to learn some things. Amelie should be practicing her writing. Ricky should be practicing her reading. I think that is what I am going to work on.
I would like to read more with Reagan. She is at an age where she wants to go go go. But boy you should see how smart this little one is!
