Obsessing? Me? No! haha
Ok. Here are a couple of pictures of Roo in the tub. Does her head look abnormal to you? It doesn't look strange to me unless her hair is wet like here.
Roo
We brought Reagan to the doctors the other day for a check-up. She was concerned with the fact that she has only gained 6lbs since birth. We all know she is tiny but I guess she is off the charts tiny.
She is also worried about the size of her head. At 1 month she was in the 35th percentile and now at 9 months she is at 90. She is sending us to a Ped so we can get some testing done.
Pray please.

Bugs Bugs Bugs
Pictures will be coming soon :)
Well we are picking up with school again. It feels good! We haven't been following a schedule as much lately. I have been following their interests more.
Today I asked Amelie to tell me something about Africa.
Amelie: It is hot.
Me: How do you know?
Amelie: Their skin is dark. God made them darker so their skin doesn't burn from all of the sun.
Me: What else can you tell me about Africa?
Amelie: People have things on their faces sometimes. (we read our book about tatoos and bones)
Amelie has been pretty interested in her mosquito bites. She has been pointing them out and picking at them. What better opportunity to learn about mosquito's? So we got out our bug book and went to town. Ricky came in for some learning. It was great!
I continued to read to myself while we were outside (Amelie and Ricky were catching butterflies, Cohen was running around and Roo was sitting with me) and I learned that centipedes are not insects. They are anthropods. Even I am learning so much!
We have to get into Math more! This Saturday I am going to the library (strange hours) and am going to photocopy some papers so we can get back on track. Today Ricky asked if we could "play" Math today :)

Conversation with the girls
I will be up and posting soon. I have been pretty sick. I have another couple of wks until I feel more like myself.
Yesterday I was eating dinner with the kids. Right now Amelie is learning about continents. Here is our conversation.
Me: Amelie, can you name me 3 continents?
Amelie: Antarctica, South America, North America.
Me: What is something special about Antarctica?
Amelie: It is at the bottom of the globe and is surrounded by oceans.
Me: Is it hot or cold there?
Amelie: Cold. It is cold because is is far away from the equator.
PHEW!! We haven't been doing much lately so this made me feel much better!
Ricky is learning our town name and street. You should see her eyes light up when I ask her. I am happy that I remember to ask her questions too because she feels so good when I do. She is one smart cookie.
Cohen has been talking much more now. I think Ron and I are pretty much the only ones who understand him. That's ok. It is nice to hear his words.
I am trying to get him to poop on the potty. The smell while changing his diaper is making me gag so hopefully he will start soon!
Reagan is a little bum. She is still her cranky self who loves bath time. Guess what I found in her diaper today! A BALLOON!! Remember those pics of the kids with water balloons. Well somehow a few got into the house. I found some and tossed them. Well I must have missed one. I didn't even know she swallowed it. That is why she was EXTRA cranky the past couple of days!!

Water Balloons
I have been so sick lately and haven't spent much time with the littles. Hopefully I will feel better soon! Well Ron took over! He brought the girls to the store and got some balloons. They then filled them with water and had a ball. I put Roo in a pile of mud and she definitely had a good time. The bottom pic is of Amelie just about to throw a balloon at Ricky. I love to see the kids outside and having fun. And I just might have seen Ron turn into a kid again.

Oh woe is me and soccer
Amelie and Ricky are both on the same team this year. I just love to see them out there running. Ricky has yet to touch the ball (giggle) and Amelie has made contact a few times. They basically run back and forth..back and forth. Cohen is usually picking up discarded slushie drinks and people's gatorade bottles and drinking from them. Ron is constantly chasing our little tornado. I try to help but I like to cheer the girls on.
